Kikiliai / Chaffinches

Kikiliai, kuriuos pradėjau tapyt... prieš pusę metų (gėda gėda) ir pabaigiau tapyti irgi prieš pusę metų :D bet iki šiol, neprisiruošiau paruošti pakabinimui, reikėjo prisiūti apačioje svorį kokį nors, šiandien pagaliau prisiruošiau, ir jau pasikabinau koridoriuje :))

Gal kam pasirodys keista ir ne mano stilius, kad labai jau jie kaip iš biologijos vadovėlio, prisiekiu, kad nekopijavau iš ten :D bet išstudijavau tikrai daug jų nuotraukų, rastų internete, tiesiog šį kartą reikėjo man, kad jie būtų tokie gyvi ir realūs... nors vis vien išėjo tokie gal per stori, labai nusipenėję, kaip prieš žiemą, bet patinka jie man, kikiliai, truputį išdykę, skinantys žvaigždutes nuo dangaus.

Chaffinches, that I began to paint... half a year ago (shame on me) and finished also half a year ago :D but, until now, I kept procrastinating (this elegant term is the word that I learnt quite not long time ago, which is strange, because I am doing this for big part of my life) to finish it and prepare to hang on the wall. I simply needed to sew some weight on the bottom edge, to make the silk drop nicer, and I finally did it today, it is already on my corridor wall. :))

Maybe somebody will find it strange, that they are so much biology textbook like, I swear I didn't use that as reference :D but I studied quite a lot of photos that I had found on the internet. This time for some reason I wanted them to look realistic and lifelike... even if in any case they turned out a little bit too fat, well-fed for the winter, but I like them, chaffinches, a little bit naughty, picking stars from the sky.
